ON Mission ID Recommendations

I am excited to recommend to you a variety of possible ON Mission ID's. If you have ever participated as a disaster relief team member or gone on an international mission trip, having readily accessible identification is critical.

Below you will find where I have gathered some of the best tools for you to use for the purpose of identification while traveling around the world or into the heart of a disaster, thus my title "On Mission ID." I have listed my TOP 7 recommendations for On Mission ID's in the order of my preference with a short note to explain. I have expanded on my top recommendation.
  1. Emergency Contact / Medical ID - RoadID is my top recommendation due to its versatility, durability and the option of interactive and updateable medical information in case of medical emergency. This is especially helpful if you have had recent surgeries, on multiple medications, or have more than one or two medical issues. This is what I wear as pictured at right on my arm. CLICK HERE for more information and to order.
  2. ID 4 EMT ID Tags - Another good option for a tag-type of ID which is durable. This tag lacks the interactive component of #1, but is a good option.
  3. MedicAlert Jewelry - This jewelry style alert bracelet has been used for years. It is dependable and durable. Not interactive.
  4. American Medical ID - Another jewelry style alert bracelet like #3. Not interactive.
  5. Printable Medical Emergency Information Alert Card - This printable style card would be my minimal recommendation for ID. It can be easily updated and carried in a person's wallet. It would be recommended that the card be laminated before use.
  6. Printable Emergency Medical I.D. Card - Same option as #5.
  7. State Farm Insurance Medical ID & Information Card - Same option as #5
